Play a quiz with music you already know
SongGuess Classic lets you import a public Spotify or YouTube playlist and turn available songs into guessing rounds. Your playlist identifies which tracks to use, so you can test your ear with your favorite artists rather than an unfamiliar selection. Ready-made artist and genre quizzes are also available from the homepage.
How to import a public playlist
Open the playlist in Spotify or YouTube and copy its share link. Paste it into SongGuess, review the loaded songs and select your game options. Use a public playlist: private, deleted or restricted lists may prevent tracks from being retrieved. Starting a playlist quiz does not require creating a SongGuess account.
Choose your Classic game settings
Classic games let you choose the difficulty and available options for clip lengths and song order. These settings apply to playlist games. The Daily and Music Survival modes retain their fixed rules. In every round, try to recognize the title before you need a longer audio clip.
What playlist playback includes
SongGuess searches for audio previews matching each song’s title and artist. Importing a Spotify or YouTube playlist does not stream full songs from those services. Some songs may have no preview available in your region. When one source fails, the game tries alternatives without opening a video that would reveal the answer.
